Works have now commenced to extend and refurbish the Kirkcudbright Scout Hall located in the Soaperie Gardens in Kirkcudbright, Dumfries and Galloway. The hall was originally built in the 1950s on a tight land-locked site at the rear of the parish church on St. Mary’s Street. This project involves the erection of a new ancillary wing to the south of the hall providing improved toilet and showering facilities, including an accessible WC and shower, a new accessible entrance with canopy and an enlarged kitchen within the existing building.
