SUN ROOM, ANGUS

This project involves a sunroom extension to the west facing gable end of an existing 1980's timber framed bungalow, located out the outskirts of the village of Wellbank in Angus near Broughty Ferry.

The extension subtly contrasts with the existing bungalow by adopting a contemporary approach to the detail. Windows are more generous in size and are placed to capture views to the Sidlaw hills beyond.

The extension also attempts to harmonise with the existing bungalow by using a similar palette of external materials - buff brickwork, dual pitch slate roof, stained timber cladding and colour matched composite windows.
